What is SEND?
SEND stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. At Edukos Trust this includes children who:
- have significantly greater difficulty in learning than the majority of others of the same age; or
- have a disability that prevents or hinders them from making use of educational facilities.
All children at Edukos Trust with SEND will be provided with opportunities to ensure that their education is personalised to their learning so that they can make the best progress whilst being included in the life of the school.
